Peer review

The editorial board makes a first selection of the submitted articles and sends the selected articles for evaluation to the members of the international advisory board. Our journal operates with the so-called “double blind” peer review policy: each article is anonymously reviewed by two independent reviewers, members of the advisory board or other specialists in the field in which the article has been written. Each author receives two anonymous evaluations of his/her text.

If the paper is accepted for publication, the author(s) have to take into account the reviewers' comments when writing the final version of the paper.

Prior to publication, the revised version of the text is once more checked by a member of the board.

Evaluation criteria: appropriateness to the topic of the volume (in the case of thematic issues); relevance of the topic of the article; originality; methodology; data exploitation; presentation quality; appropriateness of the references; innovation.
